The 2022 ICAR/Interbull Conference organization has now shifted into high gear! The technical program will be outstanding, social events will give us ample opportunities to catch up with colleagues we have not met in a long time, and we have a remarkable diversity of exhibitors for our tradeshow. About 125 delegates have already registered. There are still a few days left to take advantage of the early bird registration fees. The deadline is this Friday, April 15^th. ICAR Technical Sessions
 

We received 75 abstracts for the technical sessions that will take place on Thursday, June 2^nd. The topics are fascinating! We can see that artificial intelligence and big data, sensors for collecting information about animal health and welfare, and the information that the MIR spectrum can reveal are hot topics in labs and universities worldwide. Be sure to join us in Montréal to hear about it and interact with presenters. These presentations are guaranteed to generate a lot of discussions during the coffee breaks!

Interbull Call for Abstracts
 

We remind you that it is still possible to submit an abstract for the Interbull Open session. The theme of this session, "Innovations in national and international genetic and genomic evaluations," is undoubted of high interest. This area is constantly evolving as discoveries occur every year. Visit the Interbull website for details.
 

Covid
 

The health and safety of delegates and guests is ourtop priority. We will apply the current guidelines and directives of government health authorities. The spacious meeting rooms will allow appropriate physical distancing. In addition to the usual disinfection and personal protection equipment and measures, testing services will be facilitated on-site throughout the conference, including meeting test requirements for travelling back home. We are also proud to announce that DNA Diagnostics, one of our sponsors, will provide free rapid tests for every delegate if ever Covid symptoms are suspected. We have also secured rooms at the Bonaventure Hotel if an extended stay is required.
