COVID-19: Canadian Public Health Measures Regarding Management of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the 2022 ICAR Annual Conference
Local rules allow for in-person events in accordance with the required COVID health protection measures.
Wearing a mask in several enclosed or partially enclosed public places will no longer be mandatory from May 14 at 12:01 a.m. On public transit and at healthcare facilities, the obligation is maintained. Wearing a mask remains recommended for vulnerable people and older adults.
COVID-TESTING DURING THE CONFERENCE
To facilitate obtaining a COVID-19 test for the return home, we have arranged this service directly at the hotel. An appointment system will be offered through the Congress mobile app. The related fees will be payable on site and at the expense of the traveler. More details to come.
TRAVELERS AND BORDERS
The Government of Canada announced that effective April 1, 2022 at 12:01 AM EDT, fully vaccinated travellers will no longer need to provide a pre-entry COVID-19 test result to enter Canada by air, land or water.
